FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., October 5, 2007 ? A group of South Florida's finest Building Inspectors will speak at the Florida Landlord Action Group's (FLAG) October 10 meeting about the "Hidden Dangers" facing your income property.
Although it's common knowledge that you should have an inspection before purchasing any piece of real estate, few realize the vital role expert inspectors can play at any point of property ownership. Be careful to get an inspector with years of experience, ask questions, verses someone that took a short course and is now an "Inspector". James Jackson, representing Castrillo Home Service www.CastrilloHomeServices.com and James Gonte of A1 Property Service, www.A1PropertyService.com will demonstrate how to identify "Secret Structural Defects" using "Infrared Technology". Bob Benham will discuss how to "Eradicate Common Vermin", while Bob Pierce will lecture on "Termite Damage to Roofs". Allen Lipschutz will talk about "Disaster Remediation and Mold Damage".
"It's about teamwork," says Jackson. "We can be useful to you before buying the property or we can be useful if you have a ruptured pipe."
The Florida Landlord Action Group (FLAG) exists as a professional and lobbying resource for the many income-property owners throughout the Sunshine State. Originally founded as the Broward County Landlords Association, Inc. (BCLA) it became a non-profit IRS c TAX EXEMPT organization in 2002.
